Indian Resource Council 

 We have re-designed our site to make it more user friendly. It features an improved design, more information on the IRC, its members and the organization’s activities than our previous site. This new site will be frequently updated with fresh and pertinent information.

We are also introducing a “members-only” area where members of the IRC can access policy documents, briefings to members on issues and activities and other relevant documents for information purposes.

The IRC provides a collective voice for oil and gas producing First Nations in all regions of Canada.  The IRC also works with government and industry to ensure that interests and rights of their members are well represented. 

Our vision is to ensure that First Nations attain greater management and control of their oil and gas resources without the Crown relinquishing its trust and fiduciary obligations respecting our lands and resources. For these important roles to be fulfilled it is essential that an online resource be available to provide members with up-to-date information and to allow the general public to learn more about us.
